Acceptable Use Policy

How HilexX OS may and may not be used, so the platform stays secure and reliable for every firm on it.

Pre-launch notice

This document is a structured placeholder. It sets out the topics HilexX intends to cover, but it has not been reviewed or approved by a qualified legal adviser and must not be relied upon. Final wording will be published before general availability.

Who this applies to

This policy applies to every person a customer firm invites into its HilexX OS workspace, including staff, contractors and client portal users.

Responsible use

Customers are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the information they upload, for keeping account credentials secure, and for removing access promptly when a person leaves the firm.

Prohibited activity

HilexX OS must not be used to store or distribute unlawful material, to infringe another party's rights, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or other workspaces, to interfere with service availability, or to reverse engineer the platform.

Automated and AI features

Automation and AI features are provided to assist professional judgement, not to replace it. They must not be used to generate misleading advice, to impersonate a regulated professional, or to produce output presented to clients without review.

Fair use of platform resources

Plans include reasonable usage limits for storage, automation runs and AI activity. Where use materially exceeds the plan, we will contact the firm to agree a suitable arrangement rather than interrupt service without warning.

Enforcement

Where a serious breach places other customers or the platform at risk, access may be restricted while the issue is investigated. We will notify the firm's administrator and set out what is required to restore normal access.
